Sunday Evening

This photo is of a pair of tufted florals that show the tufting process before I trim, during, & after. I always feel like Edward Scissorhands when I’m trimming caribou or moose hair while tufting. The hair just gets everywhere, I’m so concentrated, and afterwards this beautiful little sculpture emerges. It’s very time consuming, yet so rewarding. I love it.

When I was deciding bead colours for this I had no game plan, no story or anything. I ended up listening to a random playlist on my phone & chose colours based on the vibes I felt from each song. The result was a very colourfully beaded floral 💖
